Firmware update!
Hi AirSpotters,
Thank you for your tremendous support. By now some of you will have already received AirSpots.
We were keen to start delivering in September as promised and we were able to keep to that (just!).
We are very happy with the device itself - it does what it should as far as providing a reliable and actionable CO2 level. Yet like all things new it can be improved upon and that is what we will keep doing.
Through the BlueTooth link we are able to update the software (firmware) in your devices. We will upload the latest firmware onto devices prior to sending them to you however by the time they reach you we may have improved the firmware again.
Depending on your current firmware version you may see an improvement in
- your BlueTooth connectivity
- ability to perform manual device calibration
- AirSpot graph appearance
Firmware updates are a little bit clunky right now so I felt it best to provide a video outline.
You'll need
- something like a thin paper clip
- your AirSpot device
- the USBC cable your device came with so you can charge it
- your smart phone with the latest AirSpot App uploaded on to it
